A short romp outside

Kelsey here, posting for my Dad today. It was quite mild outside (strange, for November!) so we took the pups for a brief outing. They were a bit timid of the big wide world and leaf piles before them but it didn’t take long for most to discover there were LOTS of things to bite, tug and crawl on outside. My sister Jessi had some friends over so the pups could meet a few new faces as well.  They sure love the attention! Here are a few pictures:

New pictures – Boys first this time

Well we’ve had one name change…Hobo is now Hardy. My daughter Mackenzie brought up the name and it was decided that he was really more of a “Hardy”. All the pups are doing well, getting bigger and more agile every day, though they still have a hard time holding still for photos.
We were hoping to get them outside for a little while today but it was a bit too chilly. We’re hoping tomorrow will be a bit warmer so we can get some fun shots of their first trek outdoors.

New Pictures of the Pups

New pictures of pups are here! Browse the photos below by clicking to see a larger version. The girls are first, followed by the boys. Each pup has a side shot and a head shot. When viewing the larger photo, you can see the pup’s Dancing Duke name in the lower left hand corner. And now, we’re off to start day three of puppy mash. Already eating mashed puppy food…they grow up so fast!

They grow up so fast.

Hello! Kelsey (Ron’s daughter) checking in with a couple pictures. It’s been about two weeks since I last saw the pups and they’ve changed so much! Eyes are open and they’re attempting to walk (just like with the eyes opening first, our smallest one is actually the leader of the pack on this. She’s a powerful little gal!) Everyone is healthy and starting to look more “Bracco-ish” with longer ears and little wrinkles. They all look adorable, I wish I had brought a better camera. The following were taken on my cell phone:

open eyes

They are all starting a bit, but the smallest ones are first to open and stay open, I will be home this coming Sunday night so on Monday I will get a bunch of pictures of the individual pups. Stay tuned for more. Sue tells me that one of them is barking just sitting like a big dog and barking.
